Recovery Anxiety

Well Maggie has been home since Friday afternoon. She seems in good spirits. When i take her out on the leash she wants to go for a walk or chase squirrels. She is eating well, but has not yet pooped. She has urinated, but I noticed it was tinged with blood, called the vet and they are not too worried. She said it might be a urinary tract infection, and the antibiotics will take care of it. Did this happen with any of your dogs? And how long did it take for them to go # 2?
